No nonsense tights and leggings provided me the opportunity to create my dream look for wearing some fun colored tights. I put together an outfit that I could wear both to work or to grab some drinks with friends after work. I knew my outfit had to have a dress.
As I've shared with you before, I love wearing tights in cold weather. It's an easy way to take some of my spring/summer clothes and use them when the temperatures get a little cooler. In recent years, it's seems like it's been easier to find fun colored and textured tights. Long gone are the days of only have the options of nude or black. There are so many colors and textures to choose from now!
I think the trick to making these kind of tights work is to pair them with neutral colored clothes, so it doesn't look like you're going for the ainbow look (maybe good on St. Patrick's day, but probably not for everyday!)
For me, dresses cut down a lot of the guess work (which is awesome when I'm trying to get out the door). Flat boots are my go to during the winter because they look dressed up, but are super comfy. And I love how scarfs are both functional and a way to add color (and even some sparkle!). I've definitely been using cross body bags lately because they tend not to weigh me down like an over the shoulder bag. I mean who wants to be weigthed down when they're out shopping? :)

Jill is also the author of the book " I Have Nothing to Wear!", which I can totally relate to because I can't tell you how many times I've said that line (I'm sure i'm not alone on this, right?)
If only getting dressed in the morning was as easy as putting togther this outfit was...endless posibilites and items to chose from!
